Originally from the UK, I moved to New Zealand in 2006 after a short visit where I fell in love with the place and the people, and since then I’ve never looked back. 

I’ve been involved in sports and fitness all my life, and after experiencing a debilitating accident that left me for dead in my teens, I not only proved them all wrong - but I developed a deep passion for helping others improve their quality of life, achieve their personal goals and empower them with knowledge.   Whether it was getting better at a sport, wanting to get off medication, achieve better health, increase energy or create longevity, I have looked to always provide guidance and motivation for getting the most out of life.   

I take pride in improving my client’s health and wellbeing, working closely with physios or their health practitioners when required and to help increase their ability to succeed in achieving their goals.  

During my years in New Zealand I have been privileged to have worked alongside highly respected industry experts and learn from them, becoming a keen researcher myself.  My years of experience and research have given me a wealth of insight and knowledge in how to work with our natural  physiological needs and responses, and so I focus on functional fitness principles and health coaching.   Aside from my extensive research into specialised fields,  some of my certifications, training, expertise and activities include:

But my coaching philosophy is certainly one of providing insight and guidance to empower you to make informed choices and decisions and get you fit and healthy not just while you’re training with me.  I want to help you create and cement safe, sustainable habits, so you can continue being fit and healthy long after your training with me has finished.
